Your theater has done everything right in terms of artistry and technical skill but how do you get folks to your shows? You need to find an answer if you want to keep the doors open or if you want another performance. The performing arts are awesome but unless the bills are paid, you'll be performing your art in basements and garages for an audience of 1.
The mission of Theatre Dummy is to help broadcast the messages, colors, and imagery from the productions, artists, and technicians of our local shows to a wider world. It's a tool for success!
Within 8 clicks, I can buy a car on my phone. Why is it so hard to find information about upcoming shows from smaller theaters or production troupes? With so many entertainment choices available (cinema, Hulu, Netflix, video games, to name a few) patrons have more reason than ever to NOT go see your show. If they don't know about it, they won't go. If they get stronger messages from others sources, they won't go. If they get MORE messages from other sources, they won't go. If your marketing imagery looks poor, they won't go.

Give folks every opportunity to know about your show, to receive a positive message about it, AND give them the power to make it happen. Theatre Dummy can only do so much ... but it's still a lot; imagery creation with the help of danscape, collection and consolidation of publically available information, and, most importantly, wide use of time-proven techniques of Social Media marketing.
Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter are only a few of the tools available. There's so much more that can be done with them and so many more tools available to gain more local awareness for your production AND to get regional and national attention.
